An idyllic coastal retreat for any season

From this quintessential Cornish cottage in the historic harbour town of Mevagissey you will find much of beauty and interest to explore. There are many walks that can be enjoyed, setting out on foot and leaving behind the tranquil garden and the comforts of the pretty bedrooms and log fire,  you will have easy access to the walks along the coastal path or slightly inland to The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is parking at the cottage for two cars so you also have the option of exploring further afield should you so desire. Also nearby are  The Eden Project, Fowey harbour and the Roseland Peninsula. In the micro-climate of the Roseland  lies the popular village of  St. Mawes with its medieval castle and sailing boats and the wonderfully exotic churchyard at St. Just In Roseland with its palms and tree ferns and its legend of Joseph of Arimathea.

“At Chorister’s Cottage you’ve really lucked out!!”
— June D., April 2014
Hi Jacqui, just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cornwall. Your cottage is lovely and we were very comfortable while there, it felt very much like “home from home”. We will remember our stay fondly, and hope to return to Cornwall in the future as there was so much to see, do and explore. We will certainly contact you in the future when we plan to return to Cornwall.
— With our very best wishes from the Burke family.
This cottage is the perfect destination for those wishing to explore and enjoy Cornwall. It’s perfectly situated at a five minutes stroll from the main harbour at Mevagissey,. Mevagissey itself is a bustling fishing village with an array of shops, restaurants and pubs. The cottage is beautifully decorated in pastel calm creams and has a lovely uncluttered beachy feel. It sleeps six, but my husband and I really enjoyed staying here, with just the two of us it felt cosy, and was spotlessly clean on arrival.

Wonderful Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at Chorister’s cottage feeling home from home. Every room has a nice touch and enjoying the evening sun outside was pure relaxation. Beach and harbour are in short walking distance and several gardens are only a short drive away. All in all we had a great time - even the weather forecast was wrong every day and we enjoyed blue skies and warm temperatures throughout our stay.
